KEVIN PONTHIER

MUSIC SUPERVISOR / A&R

A Texas native and graduate of the University of North Texas, Kevin Ponthier has been knee deep in all things musical since the age of 12. After cutting his teeth as a DJ and jazz host at UNT’s KNTU and popular NPR affiliate KERA in Dallas, he moved to LA to pursue a career in music and voice acting. Shortly thereafter he landed his first late night show as an inaugural member of the “Swingshift” - a monthly show on renowned tastemaker KCRW in Santa Monica.

A year later Kevin launched his own live weekly KCRW show “Let’s Get Lost” featuring new artists of domestic and international pop, electronic, funk & jazz. Today he continues his passion as an on-air radio host/DJ and consultant to the music industry. He is also a scout-at-large for emerging talent and assists with the

"KCRW Presents" series.
