Mitch Marine MITCH MARINE
(pictured here on the set of Dwight Yoakam's latest video)

Mitch has been playing with bands since the 8th grade (his first band was called Black Pearl). He attended North Texas University for one year as a music major before hooking up with the Grammy winning band Brave Combo. He spent about 10 years with the band, also doing side projects with acts such as Andy Timmons, Sarah Hickman, Trout Fishing in America, David Byrne, the Pawn Kings, and several cajun and country acts (he also played bass guitar for some of these acts). He played with Dallas alternative act Tripping Daisy for about two years, and was producing an album for a country act when he got the opportunity to play with Smash Mouth. He toured with Smashmouth for about a year which included TV appearances and large shows such as Madison Square Garden.

Mitch has spent the past couple years in Los Angeles, playing relentlessly in the country rock scene which landed him in Dwight Yoakam's group. Also during this time, Mitch produced the soon-to-be-released Honky Tonk Train CD and currently available alt country rock artist Paul Chesne's CD.
